Liverpool target Nkoulou

English Premier League side Liverpool have been reportedly monitoring the progress of Marseille's Cameroonian centre-back Nicolas Nkoulou. the 25 year old who joined Marsielle in 2011 has played 136 games for the Ligue 1 side scoring 5 goals. He is also closely watched by Chelsea and Lazio.

Liverpool joined the race due to Jurgen Klopp's concerns on defensive options with Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren and Kolo Toure all representing poor options at centre-back, further injury to key defenders Nathaniel Clyne, Alberto Moreno and Mamadou Sakho would leave Klopp’s back line decidedly limp. 

The Camerounian in recent reports has also signaled his interest for playing in England. it remains to be seen whether he will be signing for Liverpool among the long list of suitors
