Manchester United bids for Vidal

Manchester United have made a final attempt to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal before the transfer window shuts, according to reports in Italy.
United have been tracking Vidal for most of the summer and had even agreed terms on a £182,000-a-week deal to bring him to Old Trafford.
However, the deal collapsed over the failure to agree a fee, and Vidal said last week that he now expects to stay put.
But in a dramatic twist, Tuttosport newspaper says the Red Devils have returned for the Chilean and made a £39.5million offer in a bid to bolster their side who are yet to earn a win this season with two draws against Burnley and Sunderland 0-0 and 1-1 respectively and losing two to Swansea and MK Dons 2-1 and 4-0 respectively
