QPR have reached an agreement with Cardiff for centre-back Steven Caulker, according to Rangers' manager Harry Redknapp.
Redknapp is hopeful of signing the 22-year-old to play alongside recent acquisition Rio Ferdinand.
But he admits the England cap is still considering offers from other clubs.
"He's got a couple of other clubs interested in him but I think he feels if he was playing with Rio, it could help him get back into the England team," said Redknapp.
Caulker has made one international appearance, scoring against Sweden in a 2012 friendly.
The London-born player was part of Redknapp's squad at Tottenham, but did not make a single Premier League appearance during the manager's tenure.
Caulker featured in all games for Cardiff last season, playing all 38 league games and scoring five goals. However, he could not help the Welsh club avoid relegation. QPR replaced Cardiff in the top division following victory in the Championship play-offs.
